Further to our last post back in April 2014 over 9 months ago (at this link:The Hijama Directory has now been 10% upgraded to the new map-based Directory ) we are glad to report that we have finally moved all the entries from the old directory to the new map-based directory at www.hijamadirectory.co and therefore we have now switched off the old directory format which was at www.hijamadirectory.info and are now redirecting all the visitors to the new directory
We hope you will like the new directory and find it easier to use and search for your nearest therapist. The new map-based directory is still under construction as we are still going through the process of verifying all the 603 entries worldwide and making sure we have all the correct details of all the therapists that have registered with us. However in the meantime please try using it for yourself and give us your feedback on the new map-based format. In particular please try the following feature which should automatically show your nearest therapists based on your location:

... and if you can't find anyone in your area, please leave a comment below with your location, and we will ask our blog mailing list if they are aware of any hijama therapists in your area that are not yet on this new directory.

Based on feedback received from various surveys we have run so far, we are now in the process of updating each entry with the following details :
- The therapist's correct location on a map (or if they are mobile therapists, then the location of their town/ city that they are based in)
- Whether they have male and female therapists
- What languages they speak
- What qualifications they have in Hijama therapy and any other relevant/ medical qualifications
- How much experience they have in Hijama therapy
- Their contact details (email address and telephone number and website if any)
- Their opening times
Also under each entry, their patients can leave them feedback via comments or even give them ratings as follows, so please leave a rating for your local therapist:

Please note: Basic entry is still free for 1 year, however for the standard entry, there is a nominal annual entry fee of £21 per year (equating to £1.75 per month or £7 every 4 months) to cover hosting, maintaining and running costs of the new Directory (this is subject to revision from time to time to reflect the input and resources required to run the Directory, please visit the above link to see current pricing ). You can pay the fee from within your account using a Paypal account, or debit or credit card.
