'Cupping Therapy: Al-Hijamah - An Introduction Workshop'

Following the success of our summer workshop in Istanbul, we are delighted to introduce our next workshop 'Cupping Therapy: Al-Hejamah - An Introduction Workshop'.

Event: 'Cupping Therapy: Al-Hijamah - An Introduction Workshop
Date: Saturday 30th January, 2010
Venue: St.Georges Hospital Medical School University of London (5th Floor, Hunter Wing, Physiotherapy Labs).

This workshop has been carefully tailored to meet the needs of health
professionals wishing to expand their clinical skills and portfolio as
well broadening their knowledge of Medicine of the Prophet. The workshop consists of 4 self directed study days capped by a final day involving practical demonstrations and application of Cupping Therapy.

This workshop will be run by medical professionals and will encompass both theory and practice providing an excellent opportunity to gain ‘hands-on’ experience with the different types of Cupping Therapy on volunteer subjects supervised by a team of specialists. The BCS team has decades of experience in complementary medicine. Having established themselves in the UK as Cupping Therapy specialists, some of our practitioners have earned international recognition. You will have a chance to observe, ask questions and then practice yourselves.

Your participation will ensure that the workshop is both interactive and enjoyable and most importantly, beneficial. Our practitioners are aware that this will be the first exposure to Cupping Therapy for some, whereas others maybe more familiar with it, and thus the workshop has been carefully tailored to cater for all needs.
