Once again this year, to make things easier year for people to look up the Sunnah Hijama dates, in partnership with various organisations in the field of Hijama, we have designed and printed the above calendar in desktop format, and we are gifting 1 FREE calendar each to all our blog subscribers and hijama patients who want one, all you pay for is the Postage costs to your country (You will need a Paypal account or any debit or credit card to pay for the postage.).

As mentioned above, the Sunnah dates are roughly marked on the calendar, so basically the 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of each lunar month are highlighted in red to visually show where the Sunnah dates will roughly fall every month. However, the actual dates will be subject to moonsighting in your particular part of the world. The aim of the calendar is to help therapists and their patients plan their treatments better by aiming to have hijama done on or as close as possible to the Sunnah dates as recommended by the above hadith.

Here is some feedback received about the calendars from previous years.

In December, 2013, we did a survey on the blog about that years calendar, and 76% of respondents said the calendar helped them plan their treatments, and 65% of the respondents were therapists who said the calendar helped them also inform their patients of the Sunnah Hijama days

For this years version, we have tried to improve the calendar as follows:

  • We have added the Islamic Lunar calendar months against the months in 2015
  • There is now a crescent moon symbol where the first of the lunar month is expected to be
  • There is a full moon symbol where the 15th of the lunar month is expected to be

So if you are thinking of having hijama done this year, but are unsure of the Sunnah dates in the coming months, then claim your FREE Sunnah Hijama Dates calendar below to get the most out of your treatments by choosing the best days for hijama as mentioned in the above hadith.

PS: Again let us have your feedback on this years calendar so we can try and continually improve it in future years inshaAllah.

  7. How about if sunah date meet to haram day?
For example, sunah date for hijamah is 17, 19 and 21
    And haram day is wednesday.
How about if 17, 19 or 21 is wednesday?

    1. As mentioned above, the calendar is designed to visually highlight the rough area of the Sunnah days ie where 17th-21st of the lunar month are likely to be. However due to the nature of the lunar calendar actual dates are obviously dependent on sighting of the new moon in your part of the world. So the calendar is a guide to plan your treatments but actual dates need to be confirmed from new moon sighting in your part of the world, and after that it is up to you to then avoid any days which are discouraged in various Ahadith. Hope that clarifies.
